You all work hard in the formation of positive values to their children. Equity, participation and accountability are but a few. With everything you have in the dish is easy to overlook teaching environmentally responsible behaviors.
It is important to encourage such positive behaviors as soon as possible in life. If you start instilling green values in their children at a young age will increase the likelihood that they will continue a lifestyle friendly environment in adulthood. Here are ten easy ways to get a toddler or child interested in the conservation and preservation.
(1) Show your respect by animals. Take her to a petting zoo for practical experience and discussion.
(2) Ask him to turn off the water when brushing teeth and explain why it is important to conserve water.
(3) Ask to put bottles, aluminum cans, etc. at home recycle bins to get into the habit classification and storage of items for recycling.
(4) Tell him to turn off lights when not in use.
(5) Encourage him to see the nature and discovery shows instead of cartoons.
(6) Go to a nature store and purchase items that will help you learn about environment.
(7) will take you to a botanical garden to teach him to appreciate plants and trees. Purchase a plant that does not require much water and cause care and watch it grow.
(8) Help to choose books on wildlife and nature in the library.
(9) Encourage your child to play outside with friends to learn to appreciate nature. (If you are concerned about the safety of the child to stay out with him and enjoy a quality stay.)
(10) Try to tie a conservation message to all the activities you do with your child.
When teaching environmentally responsible behaviors, I found that it can be overwhelming for parents (and child) to teach or learn all these lessons at the same time. That's why you should start with something easy (like turn off the water when brushing teeth) and work from there.
Conservation and environmental protection for our children begins with families. value conservation actions with all family members and others important to you. There will be a world of difference to future generations. Environmental activist Laurie David says it best: "It is a matter of doing everything. It is a matter of doing something." You do not have to go completely green to make a difference.
