There are several reasons that car fumes are bad for humans and the environment in general. One is that carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere, increasing the total volume of greenhouse gases. This increases the average temperature of the earth artificially by humans can be a very dangerous thing to do that we humans do not know the outcome of such a change could have on more than climate.

One possible result of increased greenhouse gases is the frequency and intensity of hurricanes. Hotter ocean water cause hurricanes to form more powerful as more energy is available for the birth of hurricanes. Of course, this can have fatal consequences, as we all know what happened in the United States, destroying most of New Orleans and leaving many dead and even more homeless. This only goes to show that no matter how well developed a country might be that there is always the danger of natural disasters.

Another gas that is released from the car exhaust is carbon monoxide. Now, unlike the first time they discussed this is actually toxic to humans when inhaled in high concentrations. The reason for this is to stop the ability of the lungs to provide oxygen in the blood cells. Walking through the busy streets in highly congested cities will have noticed how the air is missing. While this level may not be exactly poisonous, can cause some damage to his respiratory system.
