Calling all Bristolians … What do you think the new bin scheme?
Bristolians just wondering what others think of the scheme new bin? Weve got the bin black horse, still filled to overflowing, the green garbage can in the garden, the food tray, paper / glass, etc. recycling box and a non-existing bin for cardboard. Ive found the black wheelie bin is still getting full as I have no plastic recycling, walking distance (I dont drive) and now collected less frequently. The food tray is smelly, and my cat has worked how to turn the lever to open. My green bin is topped myseriously overnight by unknown persons. And as for leaving out cardboard sin bin and cardboard alone weve blown our entire street! I think the council had good intentions, but have 4 different trucks come to collect the waste pollutes the environment even more. What does everyone else get in?
I'm on the edge City and South Gloucestershire entering and hopefully avoid the new system, but my in-laws have recently had something similar made in Devon. The problem is, Obviously, recycling has to be done as much as we can, but to either have to fix ourselves that requires some kind of Bin System, or pay More on our council tax to have a tray for recyclable waste is sorted at the tip. Personally, I would choose the second taste, but I think I'm in the minority, and so multiple containers that is. Still, there was at least I think it could produce some evidence of a cat, airtight containers!
