Deere Company, better known as John Deere, is one of the largest and most successful manufacturers of farming equipment in the world. The green color scheme and yellow immediately identifies a John Deere tractor, although the design of a deer jumping mark were not so identifiable.
In 1837, John Deere was a blacksmith in Grand Detour, Illinois. Farmers in the area were having great difficulty in growing the hard earth of the prairie – many of them sticky clay – with its cast-iron plows. He needed something better. Deere perfected the self-scouring steel plow (built in polished steel and spouted in the form of AA). The success of the new Deere plow was able to enter in partnership with another business in 1843 to speed up production. In 1848 he had moved his company toward the center of transport Moline, Illinois (located along the Mississippi River) and had to produce 10,000 plows.
Until then, a farmer called a plow and the blacksmith made to order. Deere manufactured several plows once, so the farmer can go in, look around and see what he wanted, and then buy there and then. That was the kind of innovation that began John Deere Company in its long road to success.
It was not until 1868 that the company was named the John Deere. Until that time Deere had had many partners, but he always insisted that only quality products that come out of his company. Son of Charles Deere became director of the company and under its aegis has become more and more success.
It was in 1912 that moved John Deere tractor in the business – the branch of which they are best known today. More 90 years later, are still strong. The company employs about 50,000 people in many countries, including Turkey and the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, China, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, India, Poland and Mexico. His business headquarters are still in Moline, Illinois.
The family Deere no longer connected to the John Deere company – which is enormous, with many subsidiaries including AGRIS Corporation (John Deere Agri Services), John Deere Landscapes (a supplier gardening plants, materials, and irrigation equipment), and even
NAVCOM Technology, Inc. (Precision positioning systems and mobile technologies intelligent), to name a few.
As with all large companies, John Deere has a website that offers a company history, a function of search to find your nearest dealer, and a complete catalog of all their offerings, from residential to commercial equipment, from golf and lawn tools agricultural machinery, construction, forestry, and engine components.
