Paper companies in the UK are among the best in Europe in the installation of new technologies to reduce the waste of printing, but three-quarters are still not taking action essential to minimize waste.
Over all firms, 64% of UK workers said they preferred to read documents in paper instead of the screen, this is slightly below the EU average of 69%.
Curiously, it is also the younger employees who are printing more documents to read, almost 74% of children under 35 years in the UK is easier to read all their paper documents, compared with 60% of persons over 35 years.
