global warming and its effects on earth and human?
What is the meaning of global warming, what r their effects on land, mountains, air, sea, trees and human etc?
Some gases (greenhouse gases ") let sunlight which warms the Earth, and then block heat from escaping. That is the "greenhouse effect" and is a natural thing, mostly caused by water vapor. Man is making excessive amounts of greenhouse gases, mainly from burning fossil fuels. That causes the delicate natural balance to go at once and the Earth warms. That is global warming. It will not be a Hollywood movie style disaster. Gradually coastal areas will flood and agriculture will be damaged. But it will be very bad. Countries rich will face, but will require large amounts of money. In poor countries many people die of hunger, but not all of them. Most scientists say, in 20-50 years. But we must start now to fix it, fix will take longer than that. Very good web site for more information here: http://www.nrdc.org/globalWarming/f101.asp
