Global warming?

I'm writing a report on global warming and its effects on Arctic life. I was looking to see if someone could offer a couple of facts about global warming. If we do not offer a fact please put a source, because if it is a direct quote i need to quote.

There are many basic scientific facts that can only be explained if the current global warming is caused by increased greenhouse effect due to accumulation dioxide carbon in the atmosphere from human burning of fossil fuels. For example, the planet is warming as much or more at night than day. If global warming is due to the Sun, the planet should warm a lot more during the day when the sun has an influence. Greenhouse gases trap heat all the time, so warm the planet no matter what time of day. Another example is that the upper atmosphere cools due to greenhouse gases trap heat in the lower atmosphere. If warming were due to the sun, warming would all layers of the atmosphere. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index; _ylt = AiYUrYRGadqG8IBJkxgXFDDty6IX; _ylv = 3? qid = 20071215102828AAxyWW6 polar bears will soon be on the List of Endangered Species: http://www.madison.com/wsj/home/local//index.php http://www.adn.com/news/alaska/story / 351780.html ?
