global warming the greenhouse effectWhat is the difference between global warming and the greenhouse effect?

- I am currently doing GCSEs so please do not provide solutions complicated! lol

Greenhouse effect: in our atmosphere, we have something called greenhouse gases.

There are, of course, and two examples of gas greenhouse gases are water vapor and carbon dioxide (several more of them). Greenhouse gases cause of the heat that is emitted from the earth to keep within our atmosphere.

If there were no greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, the warmth of the earth radiate into space. This would mean that the average temperature of the earth would be -18 degrees Celsius (0 degrees Fahrenheit) instead of 15 º C (60 º F).

That’s a big difference – I doubt that there was human life on planet earth without the greenhouse effect! Global Warming: When people talk about global warming, which means that the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere increases.

Some people say that the changes occur naturally, some people say it is because they pollute the air with carbon dioxide, etc. An increase in greenhouse gases in the atmosphere means less heat from the earth radiate into space, resulting in an increase in average temperature on earth. Rising temperatures could mean, for example, that part of the polar ice melts, causing flooding in coastal countries.

So: Greenhouse effect – a good thing global warming – possibly badly
