Off the Grid power options? If so, what type of power system alternative (s) are you using? Solar? — Hydro (I think very expensive and in this part of the country, not enough sun.) "Electric? — (May be a viable option if I have enough current through my current and / or sufficient head of a waterfall) Wind? — (If installed high enough and not dark.) Diesel Generators — (May be fine if groundwater, low speed, water cooled) We are planning to build a log house up in Pennsylvania as a second home, for now, but our main residence in a few years.
