paper recycling on college campuses
Paper or plastic help my school greener!?

I'm working for a university in my country, the most enjoyable and one of my ideas was to eliminate the use of paper cups on campus and switch to plastic. My opinion is that they are easier to recycle and straw and lid can be recycled too. Is it a good idea or cause production of plastic a larger carbon footprint then dispose of the paper cups. My plan is to switch to plastic boxes to carry, so instead of Styrofoam that is better or worse?!

Install a small sink tips, and encourage students to bring their own dishes. Offer free use of soap dish some phosphate-free, too .. I'd rather bring my own plastic cup and saucer that traces the debate on carbon factory .. lol All you have to do to get this started is to ask the school to install dispensers of dishwashing detergent in the bathrooms, and improving the bathroom MAYBE sinks a little. There is also much to say about the reusable trays or containers. When eating out, and carry-bring a variety of Ziploc containers and see what sizes are applied to the amount of food you get. Get your food at once (for some) in Styrofoam tray regularly, and go home and measure everything out in his new washable and reusable Ziploc containers .. Take pictures of the process .. The next time you go, ask them to fill the different containers with the parties they gave before .. Why worry about paper or plastic, when only reusable, and not use all that noise from factory to create the potential for waste? =) That is my take on the whole thing anyway .. Good luck to going green!

From paper to plastic, it’s ‘all together now’ at Brandeis
