
In our fast-paced techno world effort is needed to stop and appreciate our blessings – including the same technology they depend. Declare Action Through a techno-free day (after reading this article, of course) and start some of the traditions beyond the party.
A tech-free day means no use of television, DVD, computers, video games, cell phones and music / video players.
Do not take pictures during the Thanksgiving dinner. Designate a photographer to take "official" photos to share with everyone the next day. Instead of a group picture, take individual photos can be used in the decorations later.
During the Thanksgiving dinner of each person can share the technological tool that miss the most and why. older family members can each talk about a tool that recall ancient technology, like television in black and white, 8-track tapes or Wind-up phone. Hide a gift card shop technology or some music downloads on one of the squares to find the end of the meal.
Some techno-free alternative after meal activities include board games, board games, picnic and games. Remember that the families of soldiers who are deployed abroad, because they are sacrificing their Thanksgiving holiday to serve his country. Make a poster to a local military family. Title: "We are grateful to you and your soldier." Garnish with good wishes and messages of encouragement, as well as colors and holiday designs. More importantly, tell people more important whether you are grateful for them. The techno-free Thanksgiving, you may need to write a note. Count your blessings every day, in every sense.
