I love eggs for breakfast, as do many people. However, the eggs also produce waste that could eventually end up in a landfill. To begin make sure the compost eggshells. Dig a hole and bury (with leftovers for others). Worms to love you through the production of castings nutrient rich.
That's the easy part, but what about that damn egg carton. If your egg cartons are made from cardboard material you can simply put in your cardboard recycling container. If made from polystyrene foam then you need other solutions. I've listed some below.
Seed Head
You can also use the cardboard style for this too. Put some potting soil in each cup, then place one and fifty – new seeds in the soil in the pot, cover the seeds with some soil in the pot. After the seeds have germinated, push up on the bottom of the cup to remove and transplant, either outside or in another larger pot. If you were using the range of cardboard you can cut the top of the box and transplantation of the plant and the cup to your new area.
Storage Easter Egg
Are your plastic Easter eggs for decoration or Easter eggs? Instead of storing in a plastic bag, use egg cartons instead.
Children's Painting Palette
Do your children like to paint? Then put a little paint (paint environmentally safe) in each cup so that it can regulate the amount of each color for each child receives. This would not go through a lot a color constantly pressing the discharge tube or bottle.
Use a mold Jelly
Here is a neat little trick someone told me recently. For your kids Games 1st grade class that fills each cup with gelatin and set aside until it is finished congealing. Then kids can pop out and have snacks small gelatin.
Ice Cube Tray
Do not try this with a variety of cardboard, as they fled, but with the variety of polystyrene foam filling glasses with water and put in the freezer. When you have frozen ice cubes really neat for your next outdoor barbecue.
Packaging Material
Instead of using packing peanuts, Styrofoam or bubble wrap, styrofoam usage to ensure the objects during transportation to avoid breakage. If you are sending large packages, then you need a lot of them, but that's OK, you've been saving them before adding them as there is no hurry to them end up in local landfill still.
These are only some that have gone into detail with the extent of what can be done to use and reuse of the cartons eggs before ending discarded. I always recommend however, if you can buy eggs that come in cardboard egg carton variety. These boxes are more readily biodegradable and have many uses more valuable than their counterparts in Styrofoam, and become proprietors of fire.
