Me and my husband is planning to build a new home in Austin, TX, and we wanted to be 100 free from your electricity bill using solar energy. To find out how much "load" of your home will be needed, you must add all the projected electricity use, which consumed their future home. Will that add up things like the refrigerator, washer, dryer, dishwasher, water heater (may be solar), TV, computer (s), all other misc electronic material really suck power. Do not forget to think LED lights or compact fluorescent. Also, think about adding more insulation than is required by its construction local codes.
