If you ever do some research and looked at the installation of a professionally made solar panel system for your home that you have realized that is not so affordable as you expected. One would think that the cost of green energy solutions for homes become more affordable in the technologically advanced world. The sad fact remains, solar and other green energy solutions are terribly expensive and impractical to establish the right of the average American family.
Although professional installations are expensive and it is worth, there is much more affordable solutions available as yet unknown to anyone willing to put some time, effort and patience. Do-it-yourself green energy projects are perfect for anybody looking to go green and reduce their electric bills, but simply can not afford the total amount needed for a professional system.
Which means … To get things started will have a guide or manual for you to understand exactly what is going to do.
Step 1: Finding the materials.
The first thing I did after reading the manual was to go to the store and pick up materials. This is easy for most cases and may involve running a few different hardware stores for basic supplies. Depending on your method and design, you can use different materials. Some are harder to find, especially for solar cells. You probably will not have a solar dealer near you and neither, so I'll probably have to do an online search. We found some online auction site had exactly what they need in terms of solar cells.
Step 2: Joining the cell
The first step, when in fact the construction of its system Solar energy is to unite the individual solar cells to create a solar panel. This involves a lot of welding, some crafts, and plenty of patience. With a little care and practice became second nature to us. Once the cells are united and ready to build the panel (box) cells absorb sit in the sun.
Step 3: Case (panel) construction
There are a million different ways to build a case for its solar cells to sit in Obviously, the top cover should be transparent to the sun, but also waterproof to keep the rain and condensation out. It must also allow a place for wiring to enter the panel. We build our own from plexiglass and a wooden frame and then sealed to waterproof.
Step 4: Connecting
The last step in setting up your solar panel wire inside your house so you can use the power it produces! To do this you need a simple DC to AC converter. The converter will allow the DC power that groups of produce to be processed in AC power for use at home.
