The need to create something new and exciting in the blank slate of a house is powerful. As is the desire to save money and maximize efforts. Whether a change of gardening, roof garden, or a rest area for occasional customers, retractable awnings or drop screens are an ideal project for do-it – themselves because they make a very dramatic difference with relatively little effort.
The planning stage
An important part of the installation a retractable awning is to find the perfect place to install it. Retractable awnings are much easier to install than fixed awnings or canopies, as only mounted on a wall – no need to dig holes for poles or put in a foundation or grounding – which can be installed over existing pavement, patios, decks, hot tubs, and roundabouts, as well as doors and windows. Retractable awnings are suitable for any place in the sun, glare, UV rays are required, protection against rain or light.

Installation in a few steps

An important note to the screens of gout: not all manufacturers have a do-it-yourself style, so make sure you do not need a contractor before ordering screen.
An installation of an awning Retractable is slightly more complicated than installation of the screen, so follow the manufacturer's instructions:
1. Locate the bricks, beams, nails, or beams to which to mount the awning.

 • Use a chalk line and level. It's easier than trying to eyeball if the awning or screen is even.
 • Due to the weight of the sheet and maintain everything that is placed correctly, have two people working on the installation of retractable awning.
 • Read the instructions on the package or on the website of the company. If in doubt, call the manufacturer's customer service line.
In a decent afternoon's work, you can have a charming retractable awning or leave the screen installed on a patio, garden, dining hall – where you want to make a pleasant and comfortable place of the shadow.
