Solar Costs Energry, Home Value and Tax Incentives?
I recently bought a new house and am interested in installing solar panels. The I looked at windmills, but the HOA in my neighborhood who does not. I wanted to know what to expect to spend on materials and installation solar panels and a system to 2000/sqft a house in an area that receives an average of 8 hours of strong sunlight a day. I also wanted to know what this would cause the value my house. This house is not my dream house and are looking to upgrade in the next 5 years. I wanted to know if solar energy will increase the value enough to offset the cost now. (excluding current market conditions). Also, does anyone know what tax incentives are either natoinally, state or local level to Texas or other states that could be used as a comparison. Thank you.
