The association also estimated that the cost of producing electricity from wind power is approximately six to twelve cents per kWh, which is more expensive than other methods current electricity production, but the cost of using electricity from wind power will be reduced from three to five percent each year.
As energy sources in the country go, wind energy in Canada produces is far less than any other. Furthermore, while the potential is great for Canada to use wind energy, federal incentives for businesses, cities and households to use for wind energy is not large. Once the government is operating at full on board with wind energy, which can definitely be a great source of electricity for the entire country.
